Sometimes understanding people with a thick Jamaican accent is very difficult for me. I’m sure I’m not the only one.  But what I love about this song is that there is a real message behind this( if you listen carefully! ).  To super summarise the tune Buju is saying there is no good that can come from murdering someone. which is very true.

Murder is horrible but for me there is a greater theme in this song. Whatever you do in life can follow you around good or bad choices and that’s why you have to choose well. You can get away from your girlfriend, your friend or  your brother but you can’t get away from yourself and your conscience. They will follow you forever. Hope that isn’t too morbid haha but I love the tune and I love the message behind this.
