I don’t really know my grandparents living in the UK, the only time I see them is when I go abroad to visit. This song has so much soul and represents so much love. It really feels like he was jamming in alone in his studio when he made this song. The examples are so real too!
Songs like this hit real close to home. I remember when I was younger and we used to visit my grandparents and I got a taste of what the singer is talking about. What I loved to see was how even at that young age and the little time I was there. I was never made to feel like I did anything wrong. Like ever! And I assume that’s what having this feels like when you’re with your grandparents all the time.
What I would say is cherish it. If you get to experience it. And cherish the parents/ family you do have. Sounds cliche and soppy but its true.
Thanks Cody for your choice.
