I’ve heard a saying once that says you really get to know people when things are not going well. Because when things are going well everyone is your best friend and you ” love ” everyone. But chances are that’s not love. As a hip hop head one of my favourite ever songs was from 50 Cent called Patiently Waiting. He had a line in there that said. ” If I get shot today my phone will stop ringing again! These Industry Niggas ain’t friends they know how to pretend!”

Its usually in the lowest of the lowest moments that you really learn to love. Because you have nothing else to give. You may not have money. You may not have influence as you would like to be able to make a difference in someone’s life.  So you give love the old age currency that never fails and what we are all searching for.
