This Song of The Week comes from Daniel.

I remember hearing this song in uni. When The Weeknd’s trilogy mixtape was flying around Youtube and social media.

In this song he was clearly talking about a girl he was involved with ( whatever capacity it may have been) that did something secretively against him which he found out about.

This song is so deep on so many levels.  I say this because he talks about  this in a relationship context. But this can be applied to life in general.

There are so many times I’ve said or done something which I’ve regretted or someone says or does something to me and in the moment all that you see is the act itself. But over time as the dust settlesand you grow older you can see and understand the reasons or root of the problem(conflict) or  where the communication was really coming from.   Whether they be good or bad.

And why the act in itself is usually 9 times out of 10, not the problem.

When you realise that.. You’re like OHHH..Now I Know Everything!

That’s why they say Knowledge is Power.

But his skill in portraying how he feels you feel like you personally understand what he’s going through.
