Palatable for the British

Palatable for the British

I’ve recently been in conversation with people that have told me I love the brand and what it’s about. And I’ve told them the following line: Realising My Dreams stands for positivity and inspiration that is palatable for the British. But what does that even mean? Let’s break it down.

The first part of the statement:

Realising My Dreams stands for positivity and inspiration.

This is a fact. From the content we put out, to the way we communicate with followers and customers, our aim is that you (the individual) feels better about yourself after interacting with our brand.  If you want to be triggered or if you feel as though being positive is weak and “fake” (Yes, I’ve heard that lol) Realising My Dreams may not be for you. And that is not a problem either, there are many brands out there that will probably speak to you in a better way than we do. But if you rock with us, we ❤ you.

The second part of the statement:

…. that is palatable for the British.

Well let’s face it, as someone that has lived in various parts of the UK, British people are not the most positive. Let’s admit it.  From the dark humour to the self-deprecation, intentionally being a positive individual in the UK is a rebellious act.  However, despite all of this there are still positive people in the UK that are bucking the trend, these are the people Realising My Dreams stands for.

But there are negative people out there that are probably keeping an eye out for what Realising My Dreams is doing and my goal is to make sure that yes, we’re a positive brand that inspires our tribe. But also, we are palatable for the British public who have not yet subscribed to this way of thinking.
